SMS terms & consent

Effective 2026

By providing your phone number to Klaxon, or by interacting with a Klaxon-managed phone line, you consent to receive transactional SMS from Klaxon and the businesses Klaxon serves on their behalf.

What we send

Klaxon sends transactional SMS in three contexts:

  • Missed-call follow-ups. When a caller cannot reach a business managed by Klaxon, we may text the caller within 30 seconds to capture the lead and offer to help via text.
  • Appointment confirmations. 24 hours before a booked job, Klaxon may text you to confirm the date, time, and location, and to give you the option to reschedule or cancel.
  • Daily owner digests.Business owners subscribed to Klaxon receive a 7am daily SMS summarizing the previous day’s calls, leads captured, and estimated revenue.

Klaxon does not send promotional or marketing SMS. All messages are transactional, related to the call activity or appointments on a Klaxon-managed line.

How often

Message frequency varies based on call and appointment activity at the businesses you interact with. Typically 1 to 7 messages per day. Message and data rates may apply.

How to opt out

Reply STOP to any Klaxon-originated message at any time. You will be unsubscribed immediately and receive one confirmation reply. Reply START to resubscribe.

Recording disclosure

Calls answered by Klaxon’s AI receptionist are recorded for quality and training, in compliance with Washington two-party consent law. The recording disclosure is the first thing the assistant says on every call.
